Born on Nov, 4, 1942, in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Bernie Milton Adams and the late Rosa Lee Agent Adams. Bernie was a longtime farmer and auto mechanic. Born on Nov, 4, 1942, in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Bernie Milton Adams and the late Rosa Lee Agent Adams. Bernie was a longtime farmer and auto mechanic. An avid outdoorsman: he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and visiting the Smokey Mountains. Bernie loved his children and grandchildren, deeply. Mr. Adams was a member of New Life Church.
Survivors include his sons, Tim (Cindy) Adams of Lewisburg, Steve (Rachel) Adams of Cornersville; daughters, Kimberly (Tony) Burgess, Cindy Curry (Myron Edmondson), Stephanie (Eric) Wilson all of Cornersville; sisters, Teresa Patterson, Vanessa Adams; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Christine Poole Adams; daughter, Jessica Adams; sisters, Ann Harris and Donna Jett; grandchildren, Chasity York and Casey Adams; great-grandchild, Journey Crawford.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Short Cemetery with Pastor Richard Bradford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
