Alfred Wayne Doggett, 79, of Lewisburg, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at Maury County Regional Health Center.
He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Shirley and Elsie Nix Doggett. He was a Supervisor of Maintenance at Teledyne and was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church in Pulaski.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Birch Doggett and a sister, Ann Hodge.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Felecie Green Doggett; son, Steve Doggett of Biloxi, MS; two step-granddaughters, Logan Harrell and Ashely Bailiff; and his faithful canine companion, Ms. Lily. A niece and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family began Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and will continue Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, until the funeral hour.
The family is requesting instead of flowers, that donations be made to New Zion Baptist Building Fund, 1595 Sumac Rd., Pulaski, TN 38478.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
